Welcome to an evening of hospitality, fellowship, enrichment, and inquiry. Saint John's SOUL Suppers seek to open the "walls" of the church and invite in the broader community to share a delicious meal, engage with each other, and hear from a dynamic speaker who will educate and inform us. SOUL Suppers are opportunities to feed body, soul, and mind and join together around topics of interest.

Our SOUL Suppers bring in dozens of people into the Parish Hall at Saint John's to hear from dynamic speakers from across our community. Past guests include Memphis icon Rev. Dr. James L. Netters of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church, Rev. Dr. Mitzi Minor of the Memphis Theological Seminary, The Rev. Noah Campbell of the Memphis Center for Food and Faith, and Michael Rhodes of Memphis Center for Urban Theological Studies. Audio from presentations below.

The food was delicious, the presentation was wonderful.
— feedback from the first SOUL Supper
[I liked] having a topic that’s really relevant to church + spiritual life, but outside what we normally discuss. A combination of theory and practical.
— feedback from the first SOUL Supper
I really enjoy the time we spend before the dinner/speaker talking with fellow parishioners. As a new member of the church, these opportunities to socialize with members are invaluable.
